Students who participate in a meaningful international experience develop skills, attitudes and characteristics that can significantly enhance academic goals, career path, and personal life. Study Abroad is commonly referred to as an astounding, life-changing experience, above and beyond the initial expectations of the participant. Study Abroad is well worth the time, money, and effort students put into it.Study Abroad is not just for the rich or privileged, it is not just for those fluent in a foreign language, it is not simply a vacation. Mission StatementOur mission is to provide academic and administrative support for students in obtaining a relevant and meaningful international experience during college. We will accomplish this by:
- establishing an administrative structure for supporting student needs to study abroad,
- providing information to students, parents, faculty and staff about the process and options for study abroad,
- preparing students for an appropriate international experience, relevant to the students' individual academic goals and characteristics,
- providing academic and administrative support services that comply with Study Abroad Best Practices and Standards, and Code of Ethics.
